Dan was doing part of a read through of Katawa Shoujo and voiced Kenji soooooo. I’m showing off my photoshop skills.
UPDATE: It got offensive…… :/ Not so much the art, but they ended up getting really offensive later on….
Terrible stream doodles for my streamer friends is what keeps my art alive.
(purposefully made to look bad.
ever wondered how to put pattern effects on stuff? this is how i do them. :P (using paint tool SAI)
*other colors will change the color of your shape. tip: brownish patterns will give your shape an antique/vintage/old effect. orz i fail at explaining haha
lol i love the overlay effect! :D i hope this helped! :3
Practicing hands on hips because yO THATS WEIRDLY HARD TO DRAW FOR ME
yeah your wings are pretty fukkin rad i really need to learn from you on this subject tbh because mine are schiesse
overly simplified method: draw red zigzag first
important structure reference for when you’re actually putting the feathers on:
i mostly cheat and just scribble so much you cant see me fucking up the actual feathers but yeah im lazy
FINALLY using this blog again after like months of just posting references and tutorials I never bothered learning from….
carbonbase replied to your post:I still owe people pokemon pictures but to get the…just do mine first Jk, you don’t have to do mine
carbonbase replied to your post “Anyone wanna leave some asks or something? I’ve been cooped up all day…”psssst, draw a cute ghost pokemon
Yours was the one I wanted to do since it let me use whatever colour and I could try out my new copics……… I fucked up a lot as one might see. But oh well. Came out better than expected. Shoddy phone picture.
I WANT A GOOD PENCIL BRUSH FOR PAINT TOOL SAI
SLAMS FIST ON TABLE
uhh, you can use mine if you’d like?
You have to add smudges though if you really want it to look like a pencil
also if you have photoshop, you can make it look a lil more like it’s been scanned in if you shift the channels a pixel or so like people do to make the 3D effect
'idk line v2' is a brush I made, it's just:
If you’ve not installed a sai brush before, you just need to go to your SAI directory
(usually in appdata/local/systemax/easy paint tool sai or appdata/local/zame/paint tool sai english pack.)
(Type “%appdata%” into your start bar to jump to the folder to have a look)
And save that image as a .bmp in the elemap folder.
You then need to restart sai, but open it by using ‘start-sai.exe’ as that updates your config files.
